BOGOTA’ (COLOMBIA) – Natalia Ponce de Leon sfigurata con l’acido parla in conferenza stampa. Nel marzo del 2014, la 33enne è stata aggredita in un quartiere a nord di Bogotá (Colombia). Il suo aggressore è stato identificato con Jhonatan Vega, 32 anni, uno squilibrato che da tempo era ossessionato dalla ragazza, che aveva però rifiutato le sue avances.
Dopo ben 16 interventi di chirurgia plastica, Natalia ha partecipato ad una conferenza stampa in cui ha raccontato la sua disgrazia, che ha commosso l’intero Paese. Durante l’evento è stato presentato anche un libro scritto dalla giornalista Marta Soto, dedicato al caso della vittima. Si intitola “La rinascita di Natalia Ponce de Leon”. Natalia si è presentata in pubblico con un cappello e una maschera trasparente.
“L’importante è curare l’anima e dimenticare l’odio”, ha detto.
