ApROMA – Maria Sharapova dopata: sponsor la abbandonano, quanti soldi ci rimette? Gli sponsor abbandonano infatti la famosissima tennista, finita al centro della bufera per essere risultata positiva ad un test antidoping. Dopo l’annuncio fatto dalla tennista sulla sua positività all’antidoping negli Australian Open dello scorso gennaio, prima la Nike e poi la Tag Heuer hanno deciso di sospendere il proprio rapporto di sponsorizzazione con la tennista russa.
La nota casa d’abbigliamento ha precisato:
“Siamo rattristati e sorpresi dalle notizie su Maria Sharapova – si legge in un breve comunicato del colosso Usa, citato dai media americani -. Abbiamo deciso di sospendere il nostro rapporto con Maria durante le indagini. Continueremo a monitorare la situazione”.
Anche gli svizzeri della Tag Heuer, inoltre, hanno deciso di non estendere il loro contratto. Lo riporta la Tass. La Porsche, prosegue l’agenzia di stampa russa, ha deciso di “cancellare tutti gli eventi in programma con la tennista fino al termine dell’indagine”.
Una tegola, per la siberiana, da almeno 70 milioni di dollari. Tanto, infatti, Sharapova avrebbe incassato dalla Nike. Come spiega il Daily Mail, Sharapova guadagna 30 milioni di dollari solo in pubblicità grazie ai contratti con American Express, Avon, Evian, Porsche, Tag Heuer. Sharapova nella conferenza stampa ha spiegato che il Meldonium lo assumeva da anni.
