LOS ANGELES – Lupita Nyong’o, rubato il vestito di perle indossato agli Oscar. L’abito si trovava nel London West Hollywood Hotel, dove pernottava l’attrice. Si trattava di un capo firmato Calvin Klein del valore di 150mila dollari, completamente ricoperto di preziose perle bianche. Secondo quanto riferito dall’attrice alla polizia, l’abito sarebbe stato rubato tra e 8 e le 9 di mattina, quando lei non era presente nella stanza. Gli agenti stanno ancora investigando sul caso.
Lupita Amondi Nyong’o, classe 1983, è un’attrice e regista keniota naturalizzata messicana. Nel 2013 prende parte al film 12 anni schiavo, accanto a Chiwetel Ejiofor, Michael Fassbender e Brad Pitt. Il film, vincitore del Oscar al miglior film 2014 e del Toronto International Film Festival del 2013, permette a Lupita di vincere un Oscar, uno Screen Actors Guild Award e un Critics’ Choice Movie Award come miglior attrice non protagonista. Nel mese di aprile la rivista People nomina Lupita la Donna Più Bella Del Mondo
