LONDRA – Kate Middleton: voli vietati sopra la casa in Inghilterra. Niente voli sopra Anmer Hall entro 1,5 miglia. Kate e William hanno ottenuto la no-fly zone, ovvero il divieto di passaggio di aerei e velivoli, sopra la loro casa di campagna nel Norfolk, est d’Inghilterra. Questo permesso, accordato dal governo britannico, permetterà forse alla Duchessa di Cambride e a William di avere un po’ di pace in quella residenza che è stata scelta dalla coppia per trascorrere la maggior parte della loro vita privata e in famiglia.
A partire dal mese di novembre, dunque, tutti velivoli droni compresi non potranno più sorvolare la tenuta di Anmer Hall, proprietà immobiliare della regina.
Il Ministero dei Trasporti, che ha accolto la richiesta, ha fatto sapere con una nota che il provvedimento si è reso necessario “in considerazione della sicurezza della famiglia reale”. Nel dettaglio, il regolamento emanato dalla Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) intima gli aerei a non volare al di sotto dei 2.000 piedi (610 metri circa) nello spazio aereo interdetto.

Dopotutto non è una novità che i coniugi hanno sempre chiesto un minimo di privacy, almeno per il benessere dei figli. William e Kate hanno scritto una nota in cui spiegavano come desiderassero per i figli una vita il più normale possibile:
Come si legge in una nota, il divieto non verrà naturalmente applicato ai servizi aerei di emergenza (come quello della East Anglian Air Ambulance per cui lavora William), all’agenzia marittima e alla guardia costiera. Inoltre, potranno volare liberamente anche l’elicottero della regina (ovviamente) e a qualsiasi aeromobile pilotato da un membro della famiglia reale, oltre a quelli degli ospiti attesi nella residenza.
