LONDRA – Kate Middleton e il mistero della corona. La Duchessa di Cambridge si è presentata con una corona lucccante e un meraviglioso abito rosso fuoco al banchetto offerto dalla regina Elisabetta per la visita di Stato del presidente cinese Xi Jinping in Inghilterra. A questo punto la domanda sorge spontanea: la bella Kate si prepara a sostituire Elisabetta II? Sebbene sia il figlio di quest’ultima, Carlo, principe di Galles, l’erede al trono, vista la popolarità che Kate e il marito si sono guadagnati in questi ultimi anni, verrebbe da pensare che la prossima coppia regale potrebbe essere costituita proprio dalla Middleton e dal suo consorte, William Duca di Cambridge. Non può infatti passare inosservato il fatto che per la visita di una personalità del calibro di Xi Jinping, fossero presenti in prima linea proprio loro, i genitori di George e Charlotte. C’è chi parla di “nuova era” e sostiene con forza l’ipotesi che proprio Kate e il suo consorte siano i regnanti più adatti a prender il posto di Elisabetta. I più giusti per promuovere nuovi scambi commerciali ed economici con altri Paese del mondo. Insomma, una Kate regina piacerebbe un po’ a tutti.
La Duchessa di Cambridge è ormai considerata un’icona di stile ed eleganza. Con l’ultimo suo outfit sfoggiato sempre durante la visita del presidente cinese, (un vestito viola in pizzo firmato Dolce e Gabbana), la Duchessa ha fatto sognare milioni di donne. Le foto di Kate con l’abito realizzato dagli stilisti italiani ha avuto un boom di condivisioni sui social ed è già “caccia” all’abito copia, quello low cost che potrebbe assomigliare all’originale.
