LONDRA – Kate Middleton, cappotto blu firmato Christopher Kane per la visita al Royal Research Ship Discovery, nave reale inglese. Per l’occasione la Duchessa di Cambridge ha scelto un outfit invernale estremamente elegante: un cappotto avvitato, abbinato a stivali neri con tacco e un dolce vita dello stesso colore. La scorsa settimana Kate ha lasciato tutti a bocca aperta con il suo vestito viola in pizzo firmato Dolce e Gabbana, indossato in occasione della visita della visita di Stato del presidente cinese Xi Jinping nel Regno Unito.
Più volte si è parlato della straordinaria capacità della Middleton di muovere l’industria della moda del suo Paese semplicemente indossando un bel vestito. Il giorno dopo, è sempre andato a ruba nei negozi. Siamo pronte a scommettere che anche in questo caso, il modello indossato dalle moglie di William non sarà da meno. D’altra parte Kate è ormai considerata un’icona fashion a tutti gli effetti.
Il destino di Kate sembra già disegnato: è la sovrana perfetta, quella che molti sudditi sognano di vedere con la corona. Qualche giorno fa sono stati accontentati visto che Kate ne ha indossata una, piccola, ma molto luccicante. A questo punto la domanda sorge spontanea: la bella Kate si prepara a sostituire Elisabetta II? Sebbene sia il figlio di quest’ultima, Carlo, principe di Galles, l’erede al trono, vista la popolarità che Kate e il marito si sono guadagnati in questi ultimi anni, verrebbe da pensare che la prossima coppia regale potrebbe essere costituita proprio dalla Middleton e dal suo consorte, William Duca di Cambridge.
C’è tuttavia una notizia che potrebbe oscurare la popolarità della Duchessa. Secondo alcuni siti di gossip britannici, la madre di Kate avrebbe il vizio di bere oltre il dovuto. Secondo quanto riportato da Star magazine, una fonte avrebbe riferito che questo:
“E’ un problema enorme per Kate. Anche se nasconde l’alcol in casa sua, sua mamma ne porta con sé del proprio. Lo scorso Natale, Carole aveva bevuto troppo e ha iniziato a raccontare barzellette del tutto inappropriate. Kate era così umiliata che alla fine ha dovuto trascinarla via”.
