CANNES – “Ho amato molte donne“: questa la confessione dell’attrice australiana premio Oscar Cate Blanchett. Nel corso di un’intervista alla rivista “Variety” non ha nascosto la sua bisessualità. Il tutto alla vigilia del lancio di “Carol”, film che la vede protagonista nei panni di una donna bisex in una New York anni 50, presentato quest’anno al Festival di Cannes (FOTO FESTIVAL).
Eppure l’attrice è sposata con lo sceneggiatore Andrew Upton da 18 anni, Cate Blanchett ha quattro figli: Ignatius (6 anni), Roman (10 anni), Dashiell (13 anni) e una bambina adottata a marzo. E come la protagonista del libro/film che non ha mai dichiarato pubblicamente il suo lesbismo, anche Blanchett taglia corto: “Non ho mai pensato ad etichette di orientamento sessuali, proprio come il personaggio che interpreto nel film”.
