YEREVAN (ARMENIA) – Kim e Kloe Kardashian in visita a Yerevan per ricordare il genocidio armeno. Le due star del reality televisivo “Keeping up with the Kardashians” hanno deciso di visitare il Paese d’origine del loro papà, avvocato e imprenditore statunitense scomparso nel 2003. Le sorelle più famose d’America hanno reso omaggio al Tsitsernakaberd Memorial ed espresso la loro solidarietà nei confronti del popolo armeno, vittima di una deportazione di massa sotto l’impero ottomano durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale.
Già nel 2011, Kim Kardashian scrisse un articolo in cui, lasciando momentaneamente da parte la sua immagine decisamente più “leggera”, chiedeva agli Stati Uniti il riconoscimento del genocidio. Sono 43 gli Stati americani ad avere preso misure in questo senso, ma Washington non ha mai fatto lo stesso. Foto La Presse.
