LOS ANGELES – Martedì 25 marzo, si sono svolti a Los Angeles i funerali di L’Wren Scott, stilista e compagna di Mick Jagger.
La cerimonia si è svolta a Los Angeles ed è stata ristretta e privata, con la sola presenza dei familiari e qualche amica, tra cui Nicole Kidmann.
Un portavoce del frontman dei Rolling Stones (non erano presenti gli altri componenti della storica band) ha detto che il rito funebre si è tenuto alla Hollywood Forever Funeral Home, celebrato dal reverendo Ed Bacon della All Saints Church a Pasadena. Hanno letto come tributo sia Jagger sia il fratello di L’Wren, Randy Bambrough, così come la figlia di Mick Jagger, Karis, l’attrice e amica Ellen Barkin. La figlia di Mick Jagger, Jade e i suoi nipoti Mazie e Zac hanno letto i salmi. L‘Wren si è suicidata il 17 marzo nel suo appartamento a Manhattan ed è stata cremata come espresso dalla sua volontà.
