LONDRA – Kate Middleton con uno strepitoso collier di diamanti al collo. La duchessa di Cambridge si è presentata così alla National Portrait Gallery per la sua prima uscita ufficiale del 2014. Elegantissima con un abito da sera blu notte di Jenny Packham, Kate ha indossato il collier donato dal sovrano Nizam di Hyderabad alla Regina Elisabetta per il suo matrimonio nel 1947.
La collana è stata realizzata da Cartier. La tiara in seguito è stata scomposta per creare altri gioielli. Come fa notare D.repubblica, la
“Regina la indossa ancora ma il fatto che l’abbia prestata a Kate mostra il suo apprezzamento nei confronti della moglie del nipote William”.
