MONACO – ”Ozapft is”. Con queste parole di rito, si è aperta nei giorni scorsi l’Okotberfest a Monaco di Baviera Fino al 5 ottobre, nella città tedesca si verseranno fiumi di birra in quella che si conferma essere la più grande festa popolare del mondo, giunta quest’anno alla 181esima edizione. Quest’anno, in città sono attesi oltre 6 milioni di visitatori nel capoluogo bavarese.
Ruolo di primo piano all’inaugurazione, come sempre, quello del sindaco della città, che apre la festa riempiendo il primo boccale di birra: quest’anno è toccato per la prima volta al sociademocratico Dieter Reiter. Immancabile, al suo fianco, il leader dei cristiano sociali, Horst Seehofer.
La tenda più grande della festa della birra è in grado di accogliere diecimila persone a sedere; complessivamente il Wiesn, il ”prato” sul quale si tiene l’Oktoberfest, nominato in dialetto e che alla fine identifica la manifestazione stessa, offre 118 mila posti. Nel 2013 l’Oktoberfest ha portato 1,1 miliardi di euro alla città di Monaco. A seguire alcune foto della festa (LaPresse)
