NEW ORLEANS – Una sparatoria ha funestato il Carnevale di New Orleans, in Louisiana: per motivi ancora oscuri un uomo ha aperto il fuoco sulla folla lungo Bourbon Street, l’arteria principale del quartiere francese, ferendo due uomini e una donna.
Uno degli uomini feriti è stato operato d’urgenza ed è in condizioni gravi, ha reso noto il sito del Times-Picayune. La sparatoria è avvenuta sabato sera, quando in Italia era notte fonda. L’incidente non ha impedito alle gente di continuare ad affollare fino alle ore piccole Bourbon Steert, epicentro dei festeggiamenti del Carnevale che nella serata del “Mardi gras” si riempie di centinaia di migliaia di turisti.
