LAHORE (PAKISTAN) – La settimana della moda approda in Pakistan. Non solo New York, Londra, Milano e Parigi, ma anche Lahore, cittadina pakistana situata sul fiume Ravi, affluente dell’Indo. Se i modelli si differenziano fortemente da quelli che siamo abituati a vedere sulle nostre passerelle, i colori dei capi indossati dalle modelle orientali sono gli stessi apparsi nei fashion show dei più famosi stilisti occidentali: rosso, arancione, verde smeraldo, oro e beige. Sofisticati i ricami e le lavorazioni sartoriali, che ricordano atmosfere da “Mille e una Notte”.
Tra i modelli presentati a Lahore, non passa inosservato un minidress dorato, una piccola rivoluzione per un Paese in cui oltre il 90% delle persone sono di fede islamica. Stesso discorso per i leggings aderenti e colorati che spiccato sotto le tuniche o canotte lunghe in raso.
