BORYEONG (COREA DEL SUD) – Cosparsi dalla testa ai piedi di fanghi dalle proprietà benefiche che fanno bene alla pelle. Ma la ragione di questo bagno non è tanto l’effetto salutare del fango ma il divertimento.
In Corea del Sud, nella città di Boryeong che si trova a 190 chilometri ad ovest di Seul, si svolge un insolito Festival del fango. Durante questo periodo, i giovani visitatori possono divertirsi con le classiche lotte nel fango tornando un po’ bambini.
Il “Mud festival” è dedicato ad un materia solitamente molto poco apprezzata. Qui invece in migliaia fra turisti e abituée fanno a gara per provare tutte le attrazioni e sporcarsi di fango da capo a piedi. In realtà dietro al festival c’è una precisa strategia di marketing delle autorità locali: tutto il fango viene raccolto solo dalle spiagge della zona circostante e viene usato per far provare a tutti le sue proprietà benefiche; un’idea originale per promuovere il turismo (soprattutto occidentale) nella regione senza spendere molto in pubblicità, dunque.
