PECHINO – L’equipaggio della navicella spaziale cinese Shenzhou 9 è tornato sulla Terra dopo una missione di 13 giorni nel modulo orbitante Tiangong 1, prototipo di una futura stazione permanente.
I tre astronauti sono atterrati dopo essersi lanciati con il paracadute nella regione della Mongolia Interna alle 10 ora locale (le 4 in Italia). La Cina ha definito la missione un passo importante nell’ambizioso programma spaziale di Pechino. Tra i membri dell’equipaggio di Shenzhou 9 c’era anche la 33enne Liu Yang, la prima donna cinese nello spazio.
