RANGOON – Una giovane birmana di 25 anni, Moe Set Wine, parteciperà alla prossima edizione di Miss Mondo, il mese prossimo a Mosca: è la prima volta in 50 anni che una birmana partecipa al concorso, l’ultima apparizione risale al 1961.
“Mi sento di far parte della storia, mi sento come un soldato che fa qualcosa per il proprio Paese”, ha detto la giovane dopo l’incoronazione, avvenuta tra mille polemiche sull’uso del bikini, accantonato per un più ‘tradizionale’ costume intero.
