GAZA – Il noto writer britannico Banksy, nei giorni scorsi è stato a Gaza per dipingere quattro nuovi graffiti e girare un video di due minuti pubblicato sul suo sito. Il filmato si apre con l’ironico invito a ”scoprire una nuova destinazione, fuori dai circuiti turistici tradizionali che gli abitanti amano così tanto da non lasciarla mai e sono sorvegliati da ‘vicini amichevoli”’.
L’artista è arrivato a Gaza attraverso i tunnel sotterranei per sostenere la causa palestinese. Il primo graffito, ispirato a ‘Il pensatore’ di Auguste Rodin, è stato realizzato sui resti di un muro e si intitola ‘Bomb damage’. In un altro murale si vedono dei bambini su una giostra e nel terzo una gatta con un vistoso fiocco roso al collo che ”dice al mondo che si sta perdendo tutto il bello della vita”. Infine una scritta di colore rosso su un muro bianco in cui l’atteggiamento di fronte al conflitto fra Israele e palestinesi viene sintetizzato così: ”Se ci disinteressiamo del conflitto tra i forti e i deboli, ci mettiamo dalla parte dei forti, non siamo neutrali”.
