HONG KONG (CINA) – Secondo il GIA, l’Istituto di Gemmologia Americano, il diamante puro che finirà all’asta il prossimo 7 ottobre a Hong Kong è il più grande diamante puro di forma ovale mai classificato.
Si tratta del Magnificent Oval Diamond of Supreme Importance e vanta 118.28 carati. La pietra è pura e perfetta e grezza aveva un peso di 299 carati. L’asta dovrebbe portare nelle casse di Sotheby’s una cifra che si aggira tra i 28 e i 35 milioni di dollari, cifra che probabilmente porterà a stabilire un nuovo record di vendita per un diamante (LaPresse)
