DOHUK (IRAQ) – Angelina Jolie ha fatto visita ad un campo di profughi curdi a Dohuk, nel nord dell’Iraq e dopo la sua visita, in un intervento davanti alla stampa, ha detto che la comunità internazionale dovrebbe “muoversi” e aumentare i finanziamenti per l’UNHCR. “La comunità internazionale deve intensificare i suoi interventi e fare di più” , ha dichiarato l’attrice e regista. La Jolie era in Iraq in qualità di Ambasciatrice delle Nazioni Unite. L’attrice e regista ha lasciato a casa il marito Brad Pitt ed è tornata in Iraq per la seconda volta, dopo il viaggio fatto nel settembre del 2012 nel campo di Domiz. A Dohuk la Jolie ha incontrato donne, uomini e bambini che le hanno raccontato problemi e vicende personali.
