ROMA – Kate Middleton si vergogna della mamma? Secondo quanto riportato dal sito StarPulse.com, la Duchessa di Cambridge, moglie di William, duca di Cambridge, sarebbe “imbarazzata dalle azioni di sua madre Carole in un recente evento al punto che minaccia di vietarle di partecipare a quelli futuri”. Ad aver insospettito Kate sarebbe stata la scelta della madre di bere del vino, nascosto in borsa durante una partita di rugby. Starpulse cita a sua volta il sito Celebrity Dirty Laundry, spiegando come anche la Regina Elisabetta sia “inorridita” da questo comportamento della suocera. Star magazine riferisce che il vizio di bere di Carole Middleton “sia aumentato”. Una fonte avrebbe riferito che questo:
“E’ un problema enorme per Kate. Anche se nasconde l’alcol in casa sua, sua mamma ne porta con sé del proprio. Lo scorso Natale, Carole aveva bevuto troppo e ha iniziato a raccontare barzellette del tutto inappropriate. Kate era così umiliata che alla fine ha dovuto trascinarla via”. Kate avrebbe detto alla mamma: “Se non ti raddrizzi, sarai bandita da tutti gli eventi reali”.
Se tutto ciò fosse vero, la Duchessa di Cambridge potrebbe pagare caro questo vizio della mamma. Un problema che minaccia l’ostentata perfezione della famiglia Middleton. Carole, classe 1955, è un’ex assistente di volo, sposata con Michael Francis Middleton, anche lui ex assistente di volo e in seguito, dipendente della British Airways. Nel 1987 la coppia ha fondato una propria società, la Party Pieces, che vende per corrispondenza accessori per feste. Probabilmente i due coniugi non avrebbero mai immaginato di poter arrivare un giorno ad assistere a una partita di Rugby insieme ai Reali inglesi, come avvenuto in occasione del match tra Inghilterra e Australia a Twickenham.
