KAZAN (RUSSIA) – Dopo l’agevole accesso alla semifinale mondiale dei 200 stile libero avvenuta oggi 4 agosto a Kazan in Russia, Federica Pellegrini ha raccontato di aver avuto problemi col suo costume, che “nel tuffo si è gonfiato per una bolla d’aria che ha cominciato ad andare in giro. Era come nuotare con una sesta di reggiseno, che non ho”. La nuotatrice veneta ha ottenuto il secondo tempo della sua batteria (1’57″34), il sesto complessivo. “Comunque mi sembra di essere entrata facile, senza sprecare energie, quindi va bene così”.
Nella batteria precedente hanno impressionato i tempi di due favorite per l’oro, l’americana Ledecky e la magiara Hosszu. “Sapevo che loro avrebbero tirato di più – ha commentato Pellegrini -, nel pomeriggio sarà molto più difficile. Questa mattina ero determinata e concentrata, nel pomeriggio avremo dei riscontri cronometrici più veritieri”. LaPresse pubblica alcune foto della Pellegrini in acqua.
