On Wednesday, April 20, guests and celebrities gathered at the launch party for the new T-Mobile Sidekick 4G in a private lot in Beverly Hills. Big names like Nicky Hilton and Paula Abdul were on scene for the party, and guests were treated to a private concert by Coachella 2011 headliners, The Strokes.

Meanwhile, at Club Nokia Revolver magazine hosted its 3rd Annual Revolver Golden God Awards, honoring the world of hard-rock and heavy-metal. Actor William Shatner received the Honorary Headbanger award, while the members of Motley Crue took home the Ronnie James Dio Lifetime Achievement Award. Alice Cooper received was honored with the Golden God Award and performed for the crowd of metal-loving headbangers.

The women of Hollywood attended a more upscale event, dressing up in cocktail dresses for Coach’s Evening of Cocktails and Shopping to Benefit the Children’s Defense Fund at Bad Robot. The charity event allowed the stars like Amy Adams, Ellen Pompeo, Scarlett Johansson, and Anna Faris to mingle and shop for a cause. Money raised went to the Children’s Defense Fund, which is devoted to helping America’s disadvantaged and underprivileged children.
