New York Jets coach Rex Ryan took a shot at Patriots quarterback Tom Brady while praising his first-round playoff opponent Peyton Manning, according to Jenny Vrentas of the The Star-Ledger.
“There’s nobody like this guy in the league. Nobody studies like him,” Ryan said. “I know Brady thinks he does. I think there’s probably a little more help with (New England coach Bill) Belichick with Brady than there is with Peyton Manning.”
Ryan also praised the Colts coaching staff, saying that Colts assistant coach Tom Moore “has done a great job with [Manning] forever, Caldwell and Tony Dungy and things like that. But it’s Peyton Manning, that’s who it is.”
