If you feel like you’ve been reading an awful lot of bad news lately, there’s a reason. The Daily News is reporting that murders are up 15% in New York this year. The NYPD recorded 437 murders this week, compared to 382 the same time last year.
This news comes after last week’s announcement that the NYPD was summoning its rank for a conference on recent uptick in robberies.
