WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange unleashed a torrent of criticism in a new interview with the Times of London.
Assange once again struck back at the rape charges brought against him in Sweden, which his lawyer has dismissed as “honeytraps.” In one exchange, he was asked if he was “promiscuous” and replied, “I’m not promiscuous. I just really like women.” He asserted again that the rape charges were a “smear campaign,” which he previously said when appearing on the Today Show after his release.
However, the online activist not only went after his detractors. He lashed out at the Guardian newspaper for “selectively publishing” the police report detailing his alleged crimes. The Guardian report details the unprotected sex incident that is reportedly behind the rape charges, saying:
