Mark Visser might be the gutsiest surfer in the world.
Hawaii’s famous Jaws break regularly sees waves reach heights of 30 to 40 feet, but surfing that during the day just wasn’t enough for the daring wave rider. He decided to do it at night.
Visser’s gear is pretty amazing on it’s own. The surfer wore “ground-breaking NASA submarine lighting” and rode custom LED-embedded board, according to Wired.
