Arizona Universities Seeking More Out-Of-State Students
Two of Arizona’s universities are looking to enroll more out-of-state students, the Arizona Republic reports.
The proposed influx of out-of-state students would aid in increasing the University of Arizona and Arizona State’s “bottom lines.”
The state’s board of regents may vote as soon as next month to raise the out-of-state student cap from 30 percent to 40 percent. As the Republic notes, out-of-state students pay thousands more in tuition than in-state students.
